Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure commercial services to update of the software resident in the High Integration Air Data Computer (HIADC), PN 50-155-01, for the C-130, VP/UP-3, H-46 and H-53 aircrafts from Meggitt Avionics of Fareham, England. This update will correct data validity dropout errors occurring on the H-53 aircraft during low-speed flight. Meggitt Avionics is the sole designer, developer and supplier of the HIADC, and as such, is the only source available to satisfy the government's requirement to meet H-53 production installations. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. See Note 22.
