Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for a construction contract to renovate/upgrade facilities in Building 4, Bay 4, at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: asbestos abatement; selective demolition work; cutting and patching, floor prep and epoxy system; masonry; rough carpentry; finish and sheet metal work; painting; electrical up-grade; and new ventilation system. Estimated magnitude is $1,000,000-$5,000,000. The action is unrestricted. The NAICS is 23331, average a nnual receipts $28.5 Million. Solicitation number DAAB17-03-B-0002 applies. This solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be avail able. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(d), and 14.205-1(a). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue date at the following internet address: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS follow instructio ns to register. After obtaining a password (usually provided within 24 hours),go to ABOP, under ARMY SOLICITATION SELECT CECOM. View solicitation by choosing SEARCH, enter DAAB17-03-B-0002 and hit SEARCH. It is incumbent that any interested sources periodi cally access the internet site to obtain any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for bid opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Bidders are encouraged to register as a potential source for this solicitation (see top of screen for POTENTIAL SOURCES) and to view the registered firms under the Potential Sources logo on the internet site. Bidders are fu rther notified that bids must be submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 15 JAN 2003 and 18 FEB 2003.
