- Description
- This procurement is enacted to provide/acquire two (2) Data Entry Services positions for the Billings Area Indian Service Hospitals and Health Centers throughout the States of Montana and Wyoming. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.1; FAR 37.104 Personal Services; 10 USC.2304 and 41 USC.253. The IHS intends on awarding two (2) firm-fixed-price (FFP) contracts for one (1) base year, with an option to renew the contract for three (3) additional years. Prospective contractors are requested to provide an offer for the base year and each successive option years. MAJOR DUTIES: Data Entry services include, but are not limited to the following: Accurate inputting of PCC forms in a timely manner. Contractor can perform requested services from remote locations outside the Montana and Wyoming regions provided they have access to a computer and have adequate internet access. Contractor is responsible for logging onto the secure IHS mainframe and transcribing and coding information into the RPMS System. Provide backup support for Service Unit Personnel. Performs quality control through random auditing of entered forms. Maintain Data Entry backlog. Enters PCC Forms according to date, location, age, gender, health factors, physician, and prognosis. Uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents. Spreadsheet and database management software to enter, revise, sort or calculate and retrieve data for standard reports. Prepares verbatim transcripts from voice tapes of interviews wires contacts and interrogations. Knowledge of office automation systems to use several types of software for various application needs. The contractor must know the processing procedures and functions keys for performing a substantial range of functions within each software type. Knowledge of specialized terminology to transcribe patient record information from written medical record encounter forms generated by the hospitals and health centers in the area. Practices safety precautions for patients and staff. Provides safety precautions for patients and staff. Maintains patient/family confidentiality. This procurement is open to all 51% Native American owned business concerns.
