- Description
- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the District of New Jersey, Eastern District of New York and Southern District of New York. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that soliciation number MS-03-R-0005 will be issued on January 3, 2003. The estimated response date is January 31, 2003. The soliciation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: http://www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instruction. Also, requests for copies of the solicitation can be made in writing. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition.
