NA 1. Correction: This action originally publicized on 12/20/02 is corrected to read as follows: Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) intends to award a single-source contract (IAW 6.302) to Freedom Technologies, Inc., 555 12th St., NW, STE 950 No rth, Washington, DC 20004-5200. The project involves research and applicable input to all key issues to upgrade and improve DoD radio communications spectrum and third generation wireless management policy and strategic plans in order to safeguard its ac cess to radio-communications spectrum resources. Such access is threatened by growing commercial demand for additional spectrum resources. Spectrum issues (including those relating to third generation wireless services, unlicensed broadband data networks and ultra-wideband technologies) require policy to identify problem areas and potential solutions. The period of performance is from the effective date to September 2003. No RFP for competitive competition; this announcement is for informational purpose s only. See Note 22.
