Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, has a requirement for technical assistance with the development of Habitat Restoration Program/CALFED Request for Proposals, outreach and coordination of meetings, and supporting Implementation Decision Process. Upon release of the Request for Proposals, assistance is needed in organizing and participating in public workshops, facilitating review of proposals, and assisting with the development of funding recommendations, focusing on elements applicable to the Central Valley and associated geographic areas of interest including watersheds and portions of watersheds. Factors to be considered will be offeror experience with Federal, State & Local agency processes and objectives, including the CALFED Watershed Subcommittee, other watershed management efforts, water source and habitat protection efforts, and funding and technical programs designed to support them, actual experience with public-private sector ecosystem planning and protection efforts that include Federal, regional, state, and local participants, experience in facilitating workgroups composed of diverse stakeholder goups working with natural resources, and past performance.
