Description

The work includes the provision of all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performance of all work incidental to the accomplishment of civil structural repairs at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. The work includes but is not limited to installation/replacement of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and force main piping and structures, surveying, flow monitoring, cleaning and T.V.ing, smoke testing, inspections and restoration of disturbed areas. The work includes but is not limited to bituminous overlays, pavement patching, cold?milling, crack sealing, replacement of concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutter, shoulder aggregate, pavement striping and markings, pavement markings removal and incidental related work. All work shall be performed on an indefinite quantity basis and upon the issuance of delivery orders by the Contracting Officer. This is an indefinite quantity contract with a base year and four option years. The guaranteed minimum is $25,000.00 (base year only). The Bid Opening Date is 22 January 2003. The Contract Maximum Price is $2,000,000 per year for a total of $10,000,000 over 5 years. For pricing purposes and determination of the low bidder, the totals for the line items will add up to be substantially more than the contract maximum price of $2,000,000 per year, due to the Government including all the different kinds of work that may be required under the contract. Prices must be provided for all of the line items. The total of all the lines will be utilized to determine the low bidder. The SIC code for this project is 23491 and 23411. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of CD-ROM of solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website.--Plan holders lists WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website.
