Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Integrated Security Technologies, Inc. P.O. Box 37898, Hono, HI, 96837, for proprietary Lenel equipment and other ancillary components procured as an entire operational system and in one lot. The Lenel components procured are necessary to ensure system compatibility with other systems/activities and will be used as designed to maintain access control for the U.S. Army HQ in Hawaii. The delivery schedule for these items is NLT 20 January 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c )(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
