- The USDA-Forest Service, Southern Region 8 is soliciting quotes for Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for pre-suppression/suppression fire support for one (1) base year and a two (2) optional-year, renewal period. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or about October 1, 2002. The designated base will be at Chattahoochee/Oconee National Forest in Glassy Mountain, GA. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 12 and 13. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-SEP-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 23-DEC-2002.
