- Description
- This is a REQUEST FOR INDUSTRY COMMENTS ON A DRAFT PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT. A cost comparison study is being conducted of the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) in Kansas City, MO. There are 56 spaces in the NCSC under review. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price. Contract term will consist of a phase-in period, base year plus four option years. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561210 and the small business is $6 million annual average gross revenue of the concern for the last three fiscal years including Foreign and Domestic. The NCSC is the recognized customer service source for clients of the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Service (FSS). GSA, FSS customers call, write, fax, e-mail, or contact via the Internet the NCSC when they need information or have an inquiry on or a complaint regarding an order they have placed through GSA. The Service Provider shall provide services for the NCSC. The Service Provider shall ensure that NCSC actions are consistent with and support the goals and objectives of the overall marketing policy and strategic plan as published by the GSA, Office of Marketing. The Service Provider shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, and other items and services necessary to perform NCSC services unless otherwise specified. Tasks shall include, but not be limited to, providing GSA, FSS customers with information regarding GSA, FSS products and services, providing post-order customer service (resolving customer complaints), providing support services, and NCSC analysis. Comments are encouraged from industry on all aspects of the performance work statement. Industry is requested to identify commercial practices, any unnecessary or inefficient requirements, or any requirement that may constitute a barrier to a level playing field. Comments should be mailed electronically by 4:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, January 15, 2002.
