Description

This sole-source combined solicitation synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Only one solicitation will be issued and only one proposal will be requested. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212: On-Line Information Services: 18 million. This serves as a notice of intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Bell & Howell, 411 E. Roosevelt Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464. This is necessary because it is the only known responsible and responsive source that can satisfy the Government?s particular continued maintenance on Bell & Howell Guide Path equipment. This unique requirement can be met by contracting for the required service from the same source on an ?other than full and open competitive? basis.
