Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for manufacturing, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging and delivery of: 1) Stk. No 2010-01-F00-3466, Pattern, shaft strut starboard, Qty: 1 Ea. 2) Stk. No. 2010-01-F00-3467 Pattern, shaft strut port, Qty 1 Ea. 3) Stk. No. 3120-01-F02-8185 Pattern, shaft strut intermediate, Qty 1 Ea. 4) Stk. No. 2040-01-460-8305 Strut, shaft, starboard, manufactured in accordance with USCG Specification No. P-161-0359 47B Motor Life Boat Shaft Struts, Drawing 47MLB 161-010 Rev. E, Qty. 4 Ea. 5) Stk. No. 2040-01-460-8293 Strut, shaft, port, manufactured in accordance with USCG Specification No. P-161-0359 47B Motor Life Boat Shaft Strut and Drawing 47MLB 161-010 Rev. E, Qty. 4 Ea. 6) Strut, shaft, intermediate, port and starboard, manufactured, in accordance with USCG Specification No. P-161-0394 110WPB Intermediate Shaft Struts, Rev B and Drawing 110WPB-161-003, Qty. 4 Ea. This solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 331528 and the size is 500 Employees. There is a requirement for certifications of successful standard production tests and inspections. Quality Assurance inspection at origin shall be required and shall be conducted by a U.S. Coast Guard Quality Assurance Representative. Delivery shall be 210 days or sooner after award. Delivery shall be F.O. B Destination to Receiving Room, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000 for patterns and USCG Warehouse Annex, Columbia, MD for struts. The RFQ package should be available on or about 26 December 2002. Interested contractors should download the RFQ package from fedbizops@www.eps.gov . The closing date for receipt of responses shall be no later than 27 January 2003. See Number Notes 1 and 26.
