Description

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE FORWARDING INQUIRIES. This procurement is being advertised unrestricted. The NAIC is 235110. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain services for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of and alterations to Navy and non-Navy facilities located within the a 100 mile radius of the Washington Navy Yard by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract. Specific locations will be listed in the solicitation. The total dollar value including the base period and all options exceeds $10M. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of, alterations to, and new installations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) equipment systems. It is anticipated that the solicitation document, RFP N62477-03-R-0008, will be available on or about 10 January 2003. The solicitation will provide the specific requirements for submission of offers. Offerors will be evaluated on relevant experience, technical capability, small business subcontracting effort, and price. Interested parties can obtain a copy of the solicitation via http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The website is free and provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading a copy of the solicitation and for monitoring this site for the release of solicitation amendments. The closing date and time for receipt of proposals will be on or about 14 February 2003 at 2:00 PM. The details of the pre-proposal conference will be provided in the solicitation. Interested parties are encouraged to sign up for the pre-proposal conference using the ESOL website list above. All contractual and technical inquiries must be submitted IN WRITING to the Contract Specialist via email: drewss@efaches.navfac.navy.mil. The successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
