- The Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWARSYSCOM) intends to award a sole source contract to ACS Technologies, Inc., 10636 Scripps Summit Court, Ste 101, San Diego, CA 92131. This action is pursuant to the statutory authority of Title 10, USD Section 2304(c ) (1), only one responsible source, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(A)(1). Only one responsible source, ACS Technologies, Inc., is able to meet scheduled April 2003 delivery date of Navigation Sensor System Interface (NAVSSI) set for the DDG58. This firm-fixed-price FAR Part 12 simplified acquisition will require the production of one NAVSSI set for DDG58. NAVSSI collects, processes, integrates and distributes navigation data and precise time to weapon systems, combat support systems, C4ISR systems, and other information system users. It also provides navigation workstation for electronic navigation, charting, and voyage management. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
