- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of (2) IV7635A Advanced 6MM Iplex System - NTSC, (2) IV76-AT80D/FF Far Focus Direct View Tip, (1) IV76-AT60D/60D Stereo Tip ? MAJ-1046D, (2) 3D Eyetrek FMD-3DN NTSC, (2) Iplex Accessory Bag MAJ-1120, (2) 24V/12V Iplex Battery System, (2) Rigid Sleeve for IV76 Iplex ? MAJ-1105, (3) Iplex Remote Control Ext Cable MAJ-1091, and (2) Bogan Arm/Clamp. This is a brand name acquisition for the Olympus IPLEX system approved by the Contracting Officer. Quote needs to include above equipment, delivery FOB destination Grand Forks AFB, ND, and anticipated delivery time/date. Offeror must provide warranty information on equipment. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421990; size standard of 500 employees. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include with their quotation a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (April 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR database at the web site http://www.ccr.gov. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written (paper/hard copy) solicitation will not be issued.
