Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, is currently seeking potential sources for Multi-Function Facilities Support Services at Naval Station, Ingleside, Texas. The scope of work includes all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services in the following functional areas: Ship To Shore Services; Port Operations; Craft Services; Weapons Support Functions; Warehousing For Turn-In; Bachelor Quarters Operations; Linen Services; Fleet And Family Service Center Services; Utilities Systems Operations; Facility Sustainment; Custodial Services; Refuse/Garbage Collection And Disposal; Grounds Maintenance; Base Support Vehicles And Equipment Management And Repair; Crane Operations; Environmental Compliance Services; Messenger Mail Service; Driver Testing, Licensing, And Instruction. It is the Government's intention to issue the market survey and eventual solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the web site. RFP issuance date will be on or about February 10, 2003. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that includes a base period with four option years. The contract type will be a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity, with the possibility of award terms. This is a negotiated source selection procurement that consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. The NAICS for this procurement is 561210 with a size standard of $23 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. We are conducting Market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources from any 8(a), HUBZONE, or Small Business firms for this requirement. Do not submit capability statements; instead, companies wishing to respond are invited to go to the web site at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to download the associated market survey file.
