- Description
- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends on procuring fire fighting equipment. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 421850 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A single award will be made to the technically acceptable low price. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation numb er N00604-03-T-A314 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 and Defense Change Notice 20021025. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for the following CLINS. CLIN 0001: Scott 4.5 Air Pak 50 with 45 minute C/F and FP heads up display and UAC 2002 NFPA edition, part no. 805847-0402, brand name or equal, quantity of eight (8) each. CLIN 0002: Scott EZ Flo Regulator with quick disconnect and UAC 2002 NFPA edition, part no. 804370-02, brand name or equal, quantity of 16 each. CLIN 0003: Scott Voice Amplification Units and UAC 2002 NFPA edition, brand name or equal, part no. 804846-54, quantity of 24 each. CLIN 0004: Scott Face Mask Bags, part no. 805534-01, brand name or equal, quantity of 24 each. FOB Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Inspection and acceptance are at destin ation. Delivery date for all CLINS: 60 days ARO. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?Commercial; and FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, apply to this requirement. Offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 with its offer. The following FAR clauses apply to the requirement: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order?Commercial Items. The following clauses under FAR 52.212-5 apply to this requirement: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; FAR 5 2.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans; FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act?Supplies; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration; and FAR 52.247-64, Preference for Privately Owned U.S.-Flag Commercial Vessels. In addition, FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to this requirement. Offers of equal products shall clearly identify the item by brand name, make or model no., and include descriptive literature and drawings with their offers. The Government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation.
