Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a "sole source" basis a purchase order to ABB Power T & D Company, Inc., 7878 North 16th St, Suite 240, Phoenix, Arizona 85020-4449. The purchase order will be for two KA4A transformer Bushings type GOH 170/10. These businings are direct replacements for the original bushings. ABB is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of A3, A4, A6, A7 and A8/9 transformers. They possess all design calculations, drawings, and institutional experience necessary to supply the low voltage bushings for A4 transformers. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures. The anticipated award date is January 15, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offers shall show contractor's capability to provide the required work and quotes are to be submitted no later than January 10, 2003, 4:00 p.m., PST.
