- REPAIR F108/CFM56-2B/2A (USAF/NAVY) HPC Stage 1-2 Spool. SOL F34601-02-Q-49124, OC-ALC/LPDPA TINKER AFB OK 73145-3032. Item 0001 Input/Output NSN 2840-01-147-0535PN, P/N: 9992M60G06/G07 and/or NSN 2840-01-474-9016PN, P/N 9992M60G07-2A; 0001AA FPI, Immersion Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Inspection; 0001AB Light Repair. Anticipate award of a one-year Requirements type contract with 1 one-year option. Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ?s) are: 0001AA Basic ? 16 each; Option I ?6 each; 0001AB Basic ? 8 each; Option I- 3 each. Applicable to: CFM 56-2B/F108 engines. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: Item 0001: 2 each per month starting 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets. Description: The High Pressure Compressor Rotor Stage 1-2 Spool is made of titanium alloy forging and retains the Stage 1 &2 Blades in axial slots. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue/response date will be 04 MAY 2002. The anticipated award date will be 01 JUN 2002. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOps at http://www.eps.gov/ . All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Approved Source: GE Engine Services, Cincinnati OH 45215. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
