Description

The intent of this project is to provide and install a new package conveyor system. This system will be used to automatically transport material from G02 and G03 into G01. In addition, the system will use information provided by the government furnished Equipment Control System (ECS), to sort the material by mode of shipment and/or customer in G01. Aside from the programming effort required to provide the government ECS software, the contractor shall be responsible for everything necessary to provide a complete and functioning system. The contractor shall provide a warranty for one year after final acceptance. The electronic request for proposal package will be available on-line for release to the general public on or about January 15, 2003. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is anticipated; further information will be in the solicitation. To receive awards resulting from this solicitation, your company MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Registration is available via the Internet at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will be posted to FED BIZ OPS website at www.eps.gov. This acquisition is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns.
