Description

The United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) intends to acquire, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-106-1 (b), Soliciting from a Single Source, 220 .us Domain Name Permanent Reservation Registrations and one .us Domain Name Lifetime Registration from Neustar Inc., of Chantilly, VA. The Department of Commerce has awarded contract number SB1335-02-W-0175 to Neustar to manage .us Domain Name Registrations for all Agencies of the United States Government. As a result, Neustar is the only source available to satisfy the USDOJ .us Domain Name requirements. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed price purchase order. Delivery is to be within 30 days of the award date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the Government's requirements no later than the response date above. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A solicitation document is not available.
