Description

The USDA Forest Service intends to award an IFB construction contract for structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) renovations at our Delaware, OH Laboratory located at 359 Main Road. Work includes demolition; construction of new walls, doors, cabinetry and appurtenances; and installation of new equipment necessary to achieve a fully functional lab building as defined in our SOW. The Government originally issued this project in FEDBIZOPPS on May 30, 2002 but due to funding restraints with Forest Fires could not award. Solicitation is expected to be re-posted by November 4, 2002. A Pre-Bid at the site is scheduled for November 19, 2002 and bids will be due on December 13, 2002. If these dates change new dates will be posted. CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD SOLICIATION FROM THIS WEBSITE. Requests for copies of solicitation must be in writing and ACCOMPANIED BY A NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT OF $20.00 FOR EACH SOLICITATION PACKAGE. Certified check, cashiers check, money order or bank draft payable to USDA FOREST SERVICE will be accepted. NO REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED WITHOUT PAYMENT. However, those contractors that have specs and plans, need to let Contracting Officer know this and a small package with minor changes will be issued and no payment will be required. Cost range is $100,000 - $250,000. NACI 233320 28.5 million. Unrestricted. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-OCT-2002).
