- Description
- Kingswood ? Hassayampa Brush Crush. The project is to mechanically cut chaparral and small trees and treat created slash from the Prescott National Forest on the Kingswood unit and the Hassayampa unit. All chaparral and small trees must be either chipped or shredded. The Kingswood unit can be accessed by traveling north from the Thumb Butte Picnic area or west from Forest Trails subdivision on Trail #317. The Hassayampa unit can be reached by traveling south on road 65 and east on Forest Road 51. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the required work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the solicitation and any resultant contract. The solicitation will be available on or about January 23, 2003 with offers due February 24, 2003. The estimated start work date is April 1, 2003 with 130 days of contract time. Portions of each unit are eligible for treatment only during the period July 15 through January 31 of each year. NAICS Code is 115310. The project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
