- Description
- The Soutwest Fisheries Center is requesting to charter a vessel for use in a Bottom Trawl Survey of the Central California Region. The survey will consist of a series of monthly cruises, with five or six one hour trawls in depths from 10 to 300 fathoms. The Charters will begin in Moss Landing or Santa Cruz. The survey will begin in February 2003 and end in December 2003. Option years are anticipated. The vessel must be rigged for stern trawling and provide all trawl gear. The vessel must be at least 60 feet long and be a minimum 350 horse power, a crew of at least a captain and two fishers will be required.
