- NA The Army has a requirement to provide System Engineering and Integration (SEITA) support services necessary to assist the Product Manager, Physical Security Equipment (PM-PSE) in the planning and execution of physical security equipment development/non-dev elopment programs. This effort covers the application of systems integration and management science disciplines to aid the Product Manager (PM) in his efforts to assure that the development process is fully integrated with respect to design, test and eval uations, production, operations, and logistic support of the programs under consideration. This support includes program management support, systems engineering (hardware and software), software development, system test and evaluation, vulnerability and o perational requirements analysis, technical analysis, technical and program documentation, cost estimating/analysis, integrated logistics, fielding, and DOD mission support. The work requires knowledge and experience in the materiel development of physica l security equipment in order to meet unique requirements of each of the DOD components and other federal agencies supported by the PM-PSE. The Army intends to award a single performance based, Fixed Labor Hour, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID IQ) contract with a base year and five (5) one year options. Four (4) options may be exercised if established performance standards are met and one (1) additional option may be exercised as a performance incentive for superior performance. All work to be p erformed under this contract will be accomplished in accordance with written Task Orders issued by the Contracting Officer. This announcement constitutes the only notice for this solicitation; the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for downloadin g via the Interactive Business Opportunities page on or about 28 January 2003.
