Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to issue to Derwent Information, Inc., 1725 Duke Street, Suite 250, Alexandria, VA 22314, a sole source purchase order for the continued maintenance and support of an existing software license which is proprietary to Derwent Information, Inc. This purchase order is being issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source" and under the guidance of FAR Part 13. Derwent Information, Inc. is the developer of the software listed herein and is the only source that can provide a license for maintenance and support. The software package covered by this license for maintenance and support is Derwent Information's GENESEQ. The place of performance is the USPTO, Arlington, VA 22202. No solicitation document exists for this requirement and none shall be issued.
