Description

THIS PROJECT REPLACES SOLICITATION NO. RFP-R1-5-03-4. OFFERORS WHO REQUESTED A HARD COPY OF RFP-R1-5-03-4 WILL RECEIVE THIS REPLACEMENT SOLICITATION. Culvert Replacements: Two Bid Items, one site at Pete King and two sites at East Fork Legendary Bear. Project consists of removal of existing corrugated metal pipes and installation of new structures that will allow fish passage. Pete King: Work includes culvert removal and installation, rebuilding the fill, placing crushed aggregate, and placing riprap. Notably, there is more than 40 feet of fill over the existing culvert at Pete King, which is located at milepost 7.1 on the Smith Creek Road #101. Road 101 is accessed from Highway 12 at milepost 88. Est. start work on this Item June 1. East Fork Legendary Bear Creek (previously known as Papoose Creek): One culvert will be replaced with a bridge; the other with a sunken pipe arch. Work includes culvert removal and installation, bridge construction, placing crushed aggregate, and placing riprap. The project sites are located at mileposts 3.2 and 3.7 on Road #568. Road 568 is accessed from Highway 12 at milepost 159.4 near Powell, Idaho. Est. start work on this Item July 1. Instream work on all sites must be performed between July 1 and August 15, with all work completed by October 1. Est. price range: $250,000-$500,000.
