Description

The solicitation is for packing and crating for outbound/inbound household and unaccompanied baggage from both stateside and overseas and local moves. This was previously announced as F44600-02-R-0015 (IDIQ) and as F44600-03-A-0001 through A-0007 (BPA). The following is a list of counties and cities in Langley?s area of responsibility: Charles City, Gloucester, James City, King & Queen, King William, Lancaster, Matthew, Middlesex, New Kent, Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, and York. Six indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contracts for a basic six month period with four one-year options are contemplated. The current contract expires in June 2003. Delivery order prices will be based on a pre-priced bid schedule. The statement of work is the generic statement of work approved by Headquarters Military Traffic Management Command Freight Carrier Registration Program. Minor alterations have been made to fit the requirements of Langley AFB, VA. All contractors who are interested must have completed all the proper paperwork with Headquarters Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) at Alexandria VA and have a warehouse in the area of responsibility. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488991 with a small business size of $21.5 million. Performance Bond is required as part of the MTMC registration.
