- AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACT IS CONTEMPLATED; A THREE YEAR BASIC PLUS TWO ONE YEAR OPTIONS. MULTIPLE AWARDS BASED ON THE SOLICITATION ARE POSSIBLE AND PROBABLE. NSN: 2840-01-190-6884PR P/N: 9505M12G02 Engineering Data List: Revision 10 dated 3 December 2002. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Noun: Primary Seal. Item Description: The seal is a component of the exhaust nozzle assembly. Material consists of Rene? 41. Dimensions are as follows: .018 inches minimum, .021 inches maximum thick; 13.35 inches minimum and 13.39 maximum long; 5.18 inches minimum and 5.22 inches maximum wide. Applicable to: F110 Engine. Destination: FB2039 Delivery: To begin On or Before November 2003 for year one. Best Estimated Qty: YEAR ONE 1802 YEAR TWO 2469 YEAR THREE 2373 YEAR FOUR 2453 YEAR FIVE 2406 CONTRACT MAXIMUM IS 17,363 Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to all line items. THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE APPROXIMATE. CONTRACTORS SHALL REFER TO THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION FOR THE EXACT CLOSING DATE. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 27 Jan 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 27 Feb 2003. The anticipated award date will be 31 March 2003. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
