NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Qu otes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. DAHA22-03-T-0009 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisit ion Circular 2001-09. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332311 size standard is 500 employees. The following items are intended to be purchased for the Government: Item # 1. Furnish and Install Self-Contained Modular Media Blast Room Ventilated and Illuminated for Enclosed Abrasive Blasting. Maximum Exterior Working Dimensions: 15?-6? W x 15?-6?H x 20?-6? L Maximum Interior Working Dimensions: 15?-0? W x 15?-0? H x 20?-0? L Minimum 10 gauge primed and painted wall panels and minimum 12 gauge ceiling panels, which are sealed and bolted together making a dust tight enclosure. Double doors will be furnished at one end of the room opening 12 to 15 feet wide x 15 feet high. Pers onnel door 2?-6? x 6?-8? with safety glass viewing window approximately 10? x 22?. All doors will be fitted with interlocks to prevent and stop blasting when any door is opened during operation. Flush mounted four (4) tubes, 48? fluorescent light assembl y fixtures will be furnished to illuminate the interior of the blast room with lighting requirements of 110 volts, single phase, 60 hertz. Full Floor Pneumatic Media Recovery System consisting of tube and hopper floor sections covered with screen and meta l grating (minimum rating at 1,000 lbs. per square foot). Cyclone separator (optional rubber lined) media reclaim system minimum rating 900 CFM powered by 5.0 horsepower (minimum) heavy-duty motor. High volume media storage hopper. One six (6) cubic fo ot capacity pressure vessel minimum rating of 125 PSI working pressure designed for plastic media, glass bead and aluminum oxide. Blast nozzle and hoses. Operator Remote Control is required. Dust Recovery Collector with blower and electric motor 20 HP, 220/480 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz blower that will provide minimum 12,450 CFM volume. A 460-volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz pre-wired electrical control panel interlocked with the equipment doors and personnel door to prevent and stop blast operation if doors are opened. Operator safety equipment with Carbon Dioxide (CO2) monitor alarms and lights. Operator training and certification is required. Includes an external workstation for blasting smaller items and equipment. This is a ?Total Turn Key Job? and should be quo ted as such. Blue Prints of the booth quoted shall be furnished with quote.
