- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAHA24-03-T-0002 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). SIC code is 5812 with the size standard being $5.0 Million; NAICS code is 72232. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-11. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Montana Army National Guard, Regional Training Institute has a requirement for catered meals. All requirements to provide the meals are incidental to the catered meal cost. The contractor is to provide meals and condiments, to include salt, pepper and sugar, flatware, plates, hot & cold beverage cups/glasses, and napkins. The meals will be served at Fort Harrison. The Government will allow the contractor limited use of the kitchen. Limited use will comprise of: storage area in the refrigerator, warming ovens/tables, access to water and to electrical outlets. Limited use exclu des all equipment used to actually prepare meals. The meal counts are approximate, a head count will be provided to the contractor after the first meal on the first day of each training period. The government will be responsible for up to a ten percent (1 0%) variance, decrease, on all meals after the adjusted headcount has been provided. The contractor will be paid for a minimum of a ten percent decrease up to a maximum of the adjusted headcount. Payment will be on a per person, per meal basis. Meals ser ved shall include as a minimum, the portions and servings of all food groups, beverages and condiments indicated in the Montana Army National Guard 20-Day Menu for Field and Garrison Training, but not limited to these alone. Award will be based on the evaluation of quotes for conformity to the synopsis/solicitation, price, and quality and past pe rformance; quality and past performance are approximately equal to price. Vendors are requested to submit past performance information to include persons of contact on their last two contracts for similar products. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (July 2002) Alternate I (Apr 2002) applies to this RFQ. A completed and signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer.
