E-MAIL (marcha.malone@redstone.army.mil). **THIS ACQUISITION REQUIRES ACCESS CLASSIFIED DATA, WHICH REQUIRES THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAVE A CURRENT AND VALID FACILITY CLEARANCE AND SAFEGUARD CAPABILITY. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVER NMENT.** System: HAWK, PRON: D1385737, Nomenclature: Upconverter Assembly, NSN: 1430-01-043-3178, PN: 10177304, for a quantity of (7) seven. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; howe ver, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Destination to be furnished. Delivery schedule 110 days after contract award. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation m ust be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting oppo rtunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed. RFP will be issued to RAYTHEON SYSTEMS CORP, 350 LOWELL ST, ANDOVER, MA 01810 (CAGE CODE 05716). All responsible sources may submit a bid/proposal, or quotation, which sha ll be considered by this agency, request solicitation package from address above, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-T, FAX Number 256-955-7737.
