Description

NA Notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract under the auspices of FAR Part 12, to Colonial Williamsburg Company (Woodlands Hotel), Williamsburg, VA for an off-site meeting location in Williamsburg that provides lodging, meals, morning/afternoon light refreshments, plenary facility large enough to accommodate 140+ attendees, break-out conference rooms to accommodate at least 10 groups of 14 each. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have seven days from the date of publication of this synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilit ies. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after seven days, or without the required information, will be considere d non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procuremnt, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the address or facsimile number stated herein and to the attention of Mrs.Portia L. Deans, Contract Specialist. 8725 John J. Kingman Road, MS 6201 Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Responses to this notice must be rec eived by 4:00PM EST, January 16, 2003. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Requests may be faxed to (703) 767-4691. If no respo nses are received, an award will be made to Colonial Williamsburg Company, (Woodlands Hotel).
