Description
The purpose of this notice is to modify the previous notice that was posted under Reference Number-N00019-02-G-0350-0008 and inform interested parties that the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-02-G-0350, on a sole source basis with Raytheon Company, 7700 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, Virginia in support of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Tactical Control System (TCS) program. The previous notice that was posted on November 15, 2002 under Reference Number-N00019-02-G-0350-0008 has been withdrawn and is replaced with the following: The order will consist of TCS core software modifications to add Pioneer UAV capability. This shall include the design, code and test of functionality associated with adding the Pioneer Air Vehicle, TCDL and payload for the TCS core software. Efforts can include assisting Pioneer UAV, Inc. in the DCP software requirements development and supporting the integration and flight test of the TCS software into the Pioneer ground control station. Raytheon Company is the only known source that possesses the knowledge of the TCS design and operation requirements, capability, and expertise required to successfully provide these supplies and services in an accurate and timely manner. The estimated period of performance is January 2003 to September 2004. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
