Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a modification approving a one year extension to the sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-00-G-0280 and subsequent issuance of delivery orders to Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, New York, for the E-2C aircraft. The proposed contract actions will allow delivery orders to be placed for services and/or materials, along with spares and/or replacement parts, necessary to repair, overhaul, upgrade, or modify existing, foreign owned E-2C aircrafts. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and system integrator of the E2C. They alone possess the extensive engineering and manufacturing knowledge, as well as technical data peculiar to all configurations of the E-2C aircraft and weapons systems. As such, they are the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and experience necessary to fulfill this requirement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
