Description

NA Requirements type contract to provide Meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the Montgomery AL Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period 1 Mar 03 through 29 Feb 04 with four one year option periods. Se rvices are for a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS in the morning. It is estimated that there will be 15,851 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 200 maxi mum. The average daily count is 80 applicants. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. Solicitation will be issued on or about 17 January with Best Value proposals due no later than 6 February 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. No telephone requests for copys of the solicitation will be accepted. You may either fax your request for a copy to 502/624-5869 or 502/624-7165 or you may email your request to Patricia.Rollie@knox.army.mil. Your request must state your complete address, phone number, point of contact and an email address. Your request must also state which MEPS location or solicitation number you are requesting. The solicitation will be available by email only and will be in word format. Your proposal shall be returned to Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 1109B, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5000 in original plus 4 copies no later than 6 February 2003, 2:00 P.M., local time in accordance with instructions furnished in the solicitati on
