Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13.5). The required service is to provide 2 upgrade licenses for Surfer 8.0 (License #: WS48212 & WS48216) with media and 18 new licenses with media of Surfer 8.0. This supply will be delivered to Patrick AFB, FL no later than 3 March 2003. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0052 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7372, business size of $21.0M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511210. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 17 Jan 03 at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/.
