Description
The Mine and Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) intends to award a sole source contract to Performance Associates International, Inc., 760 East Pusch Lane, Tucson, AZ 85737 to continue program implementation of recommendations from the study "The Role of Training and Development in Implementing Initatives and Prerogativesto Improve the Effectiveness of MSHA". This contract will involve facilitation of the work processes for MSHA project teams tasked with producing a variety of training related assessments, policies, profiles, programs and processes. This contract requires the service of a training and development firm with extensive safety, operations, and maintenance experience in surface and underground mining, and mimeral processing plants to ensure recommendes changes are both achievable and applicable within the Nation's mining industry. This will be a fixed price contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may indetify their interest and capability to respond by submitting a proposal to include technical qualifications and experience, pricing and any other information to William Och, Acting Contract Officer, address listed above. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
