Description

The Naval Facilites Contracting Office (NAVFACCO), Port Hueneme, Ca intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order for engineering and technical support services to RiCarl Design, located in Camarillo, Ca 93010. The purchase order is for the purpose of providing security related hardware and software analysis, which includes: Physical Security Systems and Tool Industry Survey; Conducting a continuous survey of the physical security systems and tool industries for the latest processes, developments, patents, and improvements; Classified Database Development and Maintenance, create a Dbase for the ILD program that will list all ILD revisions, installation locations etc.; Physical Security Systems and Tools Test and Evaluation. The contractor's experience includes working with these systems at NFESC. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR part 6.302-1, in that RiCarl Design is the only known source with the knowledge required to provide these services. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
