- 5306?TIE ROD. NSN: 5306-01-026-6869NZ, THIS IS A FLIGHT SAFTY CRITICAL PART! Quantity Range: Minimum 4603 each thru a Maximum of 6905 each. Applicable to: F100PW100 / 200 / 220 / 220E engine Core Module. Destination: FB2039, ACCT09, Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: Delivery Schedule is to be determined. The approximate solicitation issue date will be Jan 30 2003. Only currently approved sources, Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford CT, CAGE CODE: 52661 & 77445, SPS Technologies Inc., Jenkintown PA, CAGE CODE: 56878 and Fairchild Fasteners, Torrance, CA CAGE CODE 92215 will be considered for this award. This part requires Engineering Source Approval by the Design Activity in order to maintain the quality of the item. Qualification Requirements are available as an attachment to this synopsis however, this requirement will not be held pending the approval of Source Approval Packages. It is suggested that Small Business Firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement action, make contact with the firms listed above. No telephone requests will be accepted. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
