- Description
- This requirement is for the procurement of Connecting Links, NSN 3040-00-334-9833, P/N 4043224 applicable to the F100PW100/200/220E/229 engines. These Connecting Links are .985 inches in height X .390 inches in width X 5 inches in length. The Predominant Material is Titanium Alloy. These Connecting Links allow the Sync ring to properly position the Balance Convergent and Divergent Segments during augmentation. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a one (1) year basic contract period with two one (1) year option periods. The estimated quantity per year to be procured is 1033 ea for year one, 623 ea for option year one and 599 ea for option year two for a total three year estimated quantity of 2,255 each, which equates to a total three year estimated value of $685,520. The governments required delivery schedule is 150 each per month beginning 6 months after receipt of order and continuing at that rate per month thereafter until order is completed. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The currently approved source(s) are Pratt & Whitney Military Engines Division in East Hartford, CT and Electro Methods Inc. in South Windsor, CT. No telephone requests will be accepted. The contracting office will accept requests for solicitations via fax number (405) 734-8776. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Notes 23 and 26 apply.
