Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking expressions of interest from firms who are interested in proposing on a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for general construction, renovations of multi-story buildings or barracks, repair/r eplacement of all major building systems such as electrical, mechanical, civil, maintenance and repair of facilities, some exterior/landscaping, general environmental work, asbestos, and concrete/asphalt roads and pavements in Bamberg Germany. The perform ance period will be 01 November 2003 through 31 October 2004. There will be one (1) base year, plus four (4) one year ordering periods for a possible total of a five (5) year IDIQ contract, if the Government chooses to exercise the option periods. The es timated magnitude of construction over the life of the contract is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The plans and specifications for this solicitation will be on CD. The plans will be provided free of charge and should not be returned. Offerors are asked to submit their expressions of interests on or before January 31, 2003. Paper, hard copies, of the plans and specifications will not be provided. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure they have received any subsequent amendments. All resp onsible sources may submit a proposal and will be considered for award. A firm's physical address for Express mail delivery, telephone number, facsimile number, email address and a English speaking point of contact should be provided to facilitate mailing of the CD solicitation to interested firms. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Regist ration in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
