Description

PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA This project consists primarily of pavement improvements at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Headquarters parking lot. All work is located within the boundaries of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter County, Indiana. Work primarily consists of removal and disposal off-site of existing pavement, regrading and compactin of the existing base material, placement of bituminous asphalt concrete over the existing stone base, traffic striping, and some minor grading to improve drainage. Additional work may include an asphalt overlay on the parking area around the park's West Beach auto shop and re-striping the Kemil Beach parking lot. Magnitude of project: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Solicitation issue date on or around February 28, 2003.
