Description
1. We are conducting market research to determine the customary commercial practices for Vehicle operations and Maintenance. The results of this research will not only help us determine if these services are commercial, but will let us know whether the services offered in the market will meet our agency requirements. a. Do you operate, maintain, repair and overhaul all vehicles in your fleet? b. What type of Vehicles do you maintain and how large is your Vehicle Fleet? c. How many Employees do you have to maintain your Fleet? d. Are all your mechanics qualified to work on gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions to include standard and automatic, power trains, emissions, aircraft refuelers, fire trucks and forklifts? e. Do all of your operators, who you employ, have Commercial Driver Licenses (CDL?S)'s? If so, what endorsements are required? f. How many drivers do you have employed to operate your Vehicle Fleet? g. Do you employ a Fleet Manager to manage and dispatch your fleet? h. How do you determine the services you are providing are satisfactory? i. Do you have a method or procedure to deduct payment for non-conforming services? j. How long have you been providing this service? k. What is your average monthly cost for these services? l. Do you have a Quality Control person to inspect your services before they are returned to your customer? m. Comments: 2. The information you provide in response to this survey will be used by the US Air Force to determine the commerciality of this service. This information will not be shared with other contractors or companies outside of the US Government.
