- The Air Force intends to issue a Draft Solicitation for Tree Services at Vandenberg AFB, CA on 22 Jan 03. Basic services have changed: services will include monthly tree maintenance throughout Military Family Housing (MFH) as well as other basewide tree services requested/tasked by the Government on various types of trees located throughout Vandenberg AFB. Prospective offerors interested in attending a site-visit to be held 4 Feb 03 at 0900 should submit Company Name, and number of individuals planning to attend, NLT COB 30 JAN 03, to Domingo Zavala (805) 606-2330 or 606-1928, e-mail: domingo.zavala@vandenberg.af.mil. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code 561730, size standard $5 million in annual receipts. Final Solicitation is scheduled for issuance on 6 Feb 03. Prospective offerors may begin compiling Past Performance information (see draft RFP) and submit to Lynne DeLoriea at 30 CONS/LGCB (805) 606-2195, 806 13th Street, Vandenberg AFB CA 93437-5226 or e-mail: lynne.deloriea@vandenberg.af.mil. Basic contract period of performance is anticipated for 1 Apr through 30 Sep 03, with four one-year option periods, extending through 30 Sep 2007. Services will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
