Description

NA This modification is issued to clarify the presolicitation notice dated 15 January 2003. The description of this notice is as follows: The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) has a requirement for the support of specified prototype and un it originated Third Army Command and Control Enhancements Programs and Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs). AMCOM has a requirement to procure from TRW, Inc., operating through Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, the following services: System level Tactica l Operations Center (TOC) troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, logistics support, technical support, sparing, Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) replacement, training, and the design, procurement and integration of system upgrades to existing Tactical O perations Center systems and systems/concepts. The contractor shall also identify, through troubleshooting, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) problems and coordinate repair/replacement when required. The period of performance (pop) for the basic effo rt will be contract award through 31 December 2003. This requirement shall include 4 Options. Option 1 pop frin 01 January 2004 to December 2004; Option 2 pop will be from 01 January 2005 to 31 December 2005; Option 3 pop will be from 01 January 2006 to 3 1 December 2006, and Option 4 pop will be from 01 January 2007 to 31 December 2007. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisf y Agency Requirements, this procurement is sole source to TRW, Inc., operating through Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, 1800 Glenn Curtiss Street, Carson, CA, 90746. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be given due consideration by the agency. See Numbered Note 22.
