- This is a sole sourced unrestricted procurement for repair of 9 (ea) circuit breakers onboard the USS VICKBURG (CG-69). Fleet and Industrial Supply Center , Pascagoula (Detachment), Jacksonville, FL. intends on awarding to the manufacturer Whipp and Bourne Inc., 2500 Almeda Ave, Suite 203, Norfolk VA 23513. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-03-T-0093 applies and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. The NAICS Code is 335313 with a size standard of 750. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract. The statement of work reads: (1) one job to partially disassemble in order to inspect and repair 9 (ea) Circuit Breakers in accordance with Work Item 320-11-001. Location: Naval Station Mayport, Pierside, Jacksonville, FL. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, 52.212-3 &Alt I - Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items apply; FAR 52.219-1 Small Business Program Representative Alternate II applies. FAR clauses 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Item, Clause 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposal, Clause 52.222-48 Exemption from Application of Service Contract Act Provisions, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items. DFAR Clauses 252.204-7001 Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) Code Reporting, DFAR Clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration and DFAR 252.225-700 Buy American Act - Balance of Payment Program Certification apply. The government intents to make a single award to the responsible contractor whose quote is the most advantageous to the government. Acceptance is at destination. Quotations sent via the US Postal Service should be mail to Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, NAVSTA Bldg 50, Pascagoula MS 39595-3500. All quotations not sent through the US mail will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand deliver to NAVSTA Pascagoula, Bldg 50, Pascagoula MS during weekday, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Faxed quotations will be accepted during those hours only.
