- Description
- The Government Printing Office (GPO)issued a solicitation for Depository Library Council Meeting,Washington, DC. A block of rooms at the lowest competitive rate or prevailing Government rate for the attendees, from October 16, 2004 through October 20, 2004 (Dates of October 23-27 and October 30 - November 3, Saturday ? Wednesday), are also acceptable. The Government Printing Office (GPO) will guarantee up to 15 rooms for Council members. A minimum of 210 additional rooms (minimum 50 double doubles) must be provided at the lowest competitive rate or prevailing Government rate, for other attendees who will be responsible for their own expenses. NOTE: Occupants of these rooms may not be Government employees. Hotel must be located within one-half mile radius of restaurants and shopping. Shuttle service (hotel or public) available to and from Ronald Reagan National Airport, Baltimore Washington International Airport and Dulles International Airport. Hotel awarded contract may make arrangements with another hotel (within a four (4) block radius), to provide clients the required number of sleeping rooms and/or meeting space. The proposed award is to be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Potential bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this solicitation. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
