Description
NA THIS IS AN UPDATED REQUEST FOR INFORMATION BASED UPON A PREVIOUS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. In order to better evaluate the responses to sources sought published October 7, 2002, the Contracting Officer is requesting that each company who submitted a respon se to the sources sought by November 8, 2002 shall Email answers to the following questions by 4:00 PM EST January 30, 2003 to Kathleen.Wissler@sbccom.apgea.army.mil. Your answers will be evaluated independently from your previous submission. Answers sha ll detail whether the response is based upon experience of the prime contractor (or which partner if it is a teaming/partnering situation) or the subcontractor. Answers to each question shall be no longer than ? page. As stated in the previous sources s ought notice, partnering or teaming with another small business is acceptable, and subcontracting with a small or large business is also acceptable and must be in accordance with FAR 52.219-14. The size standard is $21M under NAICS 541519/SIC 7379). You must be able to affirmatively answer or demonstrate experience for each of the following 21 questions to be considered a qualified small business. General (questions 1-5): 1. Identify prime, subcontractors and/or team/partner businesses. 2. Identify the size of each business (small business or large business). 3. Does the prime contractor or team of primes have a personnel strength of 75 or greater? 4. Does your company have or had an annual income of $5M? 5. Demonstrate DoD or Army or Governmen t experience of 3 or more years. Graphics (questions 6-7): 6. Demonstrate automated desktop publishing techniques and traditional graphic techniques to design and produce all manner of state-of-the-art desktop publishing materials including large-format exhibits and displays, posters, signs, newsletters, fact sheets, promotional materials, maps, charts, viewgraphs, videos, 35mm slides, briefing materials and multi-media presentations, interactive audio/visual presentations, animations and 3-D images for video and the Internet, or other output using Government-furnished state-of-the-art ADP equipment to support routine or special requests. Your demonstration does not need to include every item within this question 6 but rather a detailed overview of your capabilities within in these areas. 7. Demonstrate website development experience. Infrastructure Support (questions 8-16): 8. Demonstrate helpdesk experience supporting a minimum of 4000 customers. 9. Demonstrate experience using enterprise manage ment software such as consolidated service desk, asset management, remote management, and software distribution. 10. Demonstrate ability to perform workstation install, maintenance and repair by experienced technicians. 11. Demonstrate experience suppo rting Microsoft Exchange messaging environment. 12. Demonstrate experience supporting DoD Public Key Infrastructure encryption and digital signature for email messages and software applications. 13. Demonstrate working knowledge of DITSCAP regulations and information assurance management controls. 14. Demonstrate experience providing technical support of gigabit-based local and wide area network communications. 15. Demonstrate experience performing installation, testing, maintaining, and supporting Government and Commercial Off-the-Shelf software. 16. Demonstrate ability to perform systems adminstration functions on multi-platform hardware and operating system environments. Data Management (questions 17-20): 17. Demonstrate experience of data mi gration planning and implementation between different technology sources. 18. Demonstrate experience designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting Oracle databases. 19. Demonstrate experience designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting non-Oracle databases. 20. Highlight experience developing custom data retrieval programs and formatting reports. Application Development (questio n 21): 21. Demonstrate experience designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting custom software applications to include java-based applications.
