Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to to Contract N00019-01-C-0095 with Northrop Grumman Information Technologies (NGIT), San Pedro, California. Under the aforementioned contract NGIT is designing and developing the Joint Mission Planning software(JMPS) framework for use on multiple platforms across the armed forces. The purpose of this modification is to incorporate functionality additions to the JMPS framework to support the Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS). these functionality additions are critical to fielding an operational Precision Guided Munitions (PGM) mission planning capability not later than the second quarter of fiscal year 2004. Northrop Grumman IT is the sole developer of the JMPS framework and has sole responsibility to ensure the framework will integrate with various platforms, include the unique Air Force PGMPS requirements.
